The 2019 Sur La Table brand refresh required reimagining voice and design. This book was our opportunity to showcase all the work put in behind the scenes. We executed with a simpler, cleaner look and copy to support the Idea of Make More, Gather Often, a celebration of the generosity of cooking and sharing.

Our last book before the brand refresh was a transitional one. We were moving toward a new Sur La Table experience for customers and these spreads mix our earlier more feature-driven approach with the more emotional approach we were moving toward.

Sur La Table December 2018

A favorite holiday book. We came up with an advent calendar concept and gave each numbered spread a theme to tie it back to sharing the gift of cooking—an idea that really tied the book together.
